I知 located in Raleigh/Durham NC and I知 looking for a reputable shop to replace the timing belt and water pump on a 2002 Honda Accord V6 with a 108,000 miles.


Dealership quoted $780 for timing belt only. $350 for Tune-Up; basically change the plugs...

 

I know of a shop in greenville sc, try to find a shop that is honda acura specific, (only works on hondas) I found they do the best work for the $$$

 

dealer will do it for about $750 or so includes replacement of water pump, drive belts and other wearable parts along with the timing belt.

most dealers I have talked to say that the V6 can usually go to about 120K before needing a belt

 

Thanks for responding. I made about 6 calls and it seems everyone is within the same price range give or take $100.00.
