Default Fresh ZC no start

Well..DOHC ZC into a CIVIC STD... its not starting..

here are my symptoms..

I have ECU codes 10 and 4...

i tried switching my distributor white wires...tried switching my CPS wires...

I have spark in all four cylinders. The engine is cranking but wont start..

fuel seems to be injecting..i had a leaky injector but i got new orings all around..fixed the problem.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=VqiWJU5qNOs

it also has a little bit of a tick to it...

any help would be appreciated

You don't need to crank that long. You'll flood it that way

Fix your codes and try it again without any CEL's
Its probaby your dizzy cause the crank angle sensor is in the dizzy

Did you set your timing??

u getting any fuel going though the rail?hows the fuel pressure i had something caught in my fuelk line and it wouldnt start.code 4 is for your is for your crank angle snesor! did u change the t/b at anytime if so u might have mislined the line on the block and crank pully.if u did do that ull have to tear it apart and line the crank pully up.

btw the crank sensor is not in the dizzy on a dohc zc

Im pretty sure i got the timing belt on right...i lined to TDC...put my crankshafts in and adjusted my rocker arms..then put the timing belt on over that...i have no real way to check the timing on the engine because..it wont start...

I have fuel in the fuel rail forsure cause i had injector leaks...replaced orings..no more leaks..but im gunna check on how the fuel is spraying out.

I guess i can attempt to move the dizzy around when starting..see if that make a difference..

the reason i posted the video is because my engine makes really weird sounds when its trying to start..you can't here them very well in the vid..but you can hear a succession of deep popping sounds...im thinking its just my compression built up...im not really sure though...

Well..ill check fuel and get back...

thanks for the help..im trying to learn all this ****...im only 17 and ive had my car for a year.....last year i didn't know **** about cars...this year im putting a new engine in...and its thanks to these forums.....so lets hope someone can help me figure this one out..

check to see if your firing order is right.
also if your injectors are spraying. just cause ur rail has fuel doesent mean there spraying.
check the injectors resistance.

I agree honda puts the crank angle sensor in the dizzy, So the whole dizzy must be replaced

Code 10 shouldn't prevent it from starting, at least not to my knowledge. Code 10 is for the Intake Air Temperature Sensor, check to make sure its plugged in completely but if it is and still throws the code you should replace it. The sensor is about $15.

I could barely hear the video, but check to make sure that the dizzy rotor is tightened down and has not came loose. I would suggest checking all your grounds and checking or replacing the dizzy with a known working one. Is the firing order correct? Double check to make sure its timed too.

Ive got spark for sure.

I have fuel coming out of the injectors for sure.

I found a problem with my injector wiring..fixed it..no change

my dad and I reset the timing and made sure the rocker arms were all adjusted right...still isn't starting..

i got a better clip of the sound it is making when it is trying to start..it makes this click sound...

I dont know what it is...could be my problem though....

here is the link

http://youtube.com/watch?v=-ID1kgbP27M

If i can't fix it soon...off to the mechanic
