Anyone ever try the 80w 9006 bulbs? These 55w jobs suck. Before i go buying some off-road low beams i just wanted to check and find out if anyone knows what the harness can take. I've burned up VW's before playing this game...then again I hate VW's so it was kind of fun in a sadistic way. I figure worst case i can try the PIAA or sylvania silverstars in the lame 55w

 

Go HID if you don't mind shelling out the monies. A retrofit is obviously superior, but a kit will do the job.

I can sit next to a TL or s2k and feel completely comfortable with my light output. They have a little wider spread, but I have my blue cutoff and a wide enough spread on stock projectors.

You'll burn your harness. Stick with stock wattage or go HID. Any type 9005/6 build will only go so far. You'll see like a 5% variance between brands.

 

LOL put in the 80w off road Hellas today, you can say i told you so if my harnesses go. so far so good. had the lights on for an hour straight
