car: 2005 civic ex automatic

so my cousin calls me and asks me if i knew what could be the problem but i didnt really know the real reason so im asking you guys

she says when she puts it in reverse it'll back up but when its in D it will just creep up really slowly..no CEL's or anithing.

what could be the problem?
transmission?

it might be the throttle cable. we need more info. in D, the car is supposed to creep slowly. what happens when you push down on the gas pedal?

well, it could be the torque converter but seeing as how it will move by itself when in reverse, it might not. It might also be the 1st plate thats slipping in the tranny. when she gets going, does it shift alright? is it only when shes at a dead stop?

just got off the fone with her..the car doesnt even get going

maybe change tranny fluid or no tranny fluid? im not familiar with automatic cars =\

tranny fluid wont magically make it better, just like how an oil change wont solve any engine issues. you said no codes either? im thinking maybe the tq converter gave out or the tranny in general
