Default Europeans, help me out!

I'm not asking for anyone to post anything in this thread, but I have the European Electronics Parts Catalog and would like to explore it's capabilities more.

For that I need some real VINs. I'm not sure if anything will even work here since I'm not connected to Honda itself, but I'd like to find out.

So if anyone is willing to send me their VIN so I can try out, that'd be great and would really help me out.

I dont know if this is a bad idea, but if no one does send you vins, have you thought about looking for hondas on yahoo autos, ect. and looking up those vins?

I've had difficulty finding EDM VINs online. USDM VINs are easy to find.

*sigh*

Read the thread. I don't need USDM VINs. I need European ones. Those aren't usually on Autotrader.

And I need the VINs so I can run them through the European Electronics Parts Catalog. I don't need CarFax at all!

I do have some info in the EPC at least. Not so sure I can figure somethign out though. Probably just be easier to collect some VINs. Anyway, then I can check with the person if it tells me anything different. It looks like it'd tell me the stock colors and such, for example.

read the tech email they sent out when you log into the honda network, click FAQ then click parts catalog............it will show you how to accsess the diffrent partswithout a VIN. it works on the euro, jdm and usdm EPC non next generation version. yes the ones that you downloaded off of that site........that shall remain nameless

I don't get tech emails. I don't work for Honda. I don't have a log in for the Honda network.

Thanks. You can PM it to me if you get it. I know you can sometimes manage to get keys made without ID and proof of ownership and all, so I don't want his info up here for anyone even if the chance is slim that anyone would match the two up.

Yeah but it's not like VIN's are secret - I mean it's stamped and visible right through the windshield.

Yeah, and big whoop. I keep mine covered (illegal I hear, but I don't care). Posting it on the internet makes the car accessible to much more people than it would normally be seen by. It also puts it on a site where there are known thieves.

I wouldn't mind seeing what comes up on my vin #. Its a ten digit vin from my JDM car. Would that work in your EPC? If so I'll send it by e-mail.
