hey guys happy new year, i need a little help with a exhaust, i want to buy the vibrant performance flat back exhaust 3 inch muffler, but where do i get the rest of the cat back, does anyone have any suggestions, i plan on turboing my car and i am slowly buying the pieces should i wait for the turbo to get the exhaust or should i do it now, the real question is, what do i do with just the muffler, ahh sorry for the stupid question, but i don't know, and i work on my car by myself so i have no one to ask but you guys thanks and sorry

 

for the rest of the piping you have 2 options, well 3 but ill stick with two..... one, find someone selling an aftermarket exhaust set-up and buy the piece that goes from the header to the axle back,(mid section?) and have your muffler welded with a flange so it'll be axle back, or you can just have a muffler shop bend you a peice of however big you want piping (2in, 2.25, 3 in.. you get the idea) from the header back (having the cat is up to you....) and have them weld the muffler to that. thats how i usually have my setups done... the third option. just have the muffler welded to existing stock piping

 

An exhaust shop can make a catback for you.

 

ok so just bring them the muffler and have them make the rest, should i just buy a new cat with it and then they can custom make the pipeing, should i make the pipe's 2,5 inch for the turbo, i am not sure on these topics thanks guys
