hi i was wondering what should the car idel at when it starts mine idels at 3000 rpm but lowers to about 2000 after 2 min then 1500 after the heat is in the middle for the temp i think its wayyyy to high there is no vac leaks because i just switched the throttle pully to a auto pully for my auto dx should i ajust the idel screw and if i do how low should it idel at on start up and after worm up

 

start by turning the idle screw all the way in to the right. see where that gets u . if its still high then check if the throttle cable is too tight or holding the throttle open. if its not then u have a VAC leak somewhere. poss at the intake mani gasket . did u use all new gaskets

 

i only switched the pully for the throttle body the throttle body has a new gasket and has never been removed so it may be the idel screw i8 think
