Default my 2004 F4i..

cleaned up for the winter.. even though they say you can ride year round here in socal.. no thank you. its been getting expletiveing cold. so i cleaned her up for the winter.. the cover is on, and im waiting for 80 degree highs again.

2004 600 F4i. almost 9K miles. and my next mod is a split seat conversion, just waiting to locate a front seat, and passenger pegs. after that, its gold.

our day time highs have been in the 70's.. our average lows have been normaly in the 40's, but a few 30's..

i work swing shift, and i start at 3pm.. so by quitting time, its midnight, and going home really kicks my ***.

i know alot of people would kill to have socal weather.. but.. you have to remember, we're tropical climate out here.. 40's is freaking cold compared to the summer, where we have 110/90 highs and lows.

the muffler was actually given to me with the bike, i simply cut the OEM muffler off, and welded this one in place. haha, polish does wonders..

and my lic plate? who cares... if i ride it in public, you can write it down.. you think somone here on HT is really going to come take it? its not the lambo of honda motorcycles.. who cares.. besides, i have very good home security.. even better when i am home!

...you live in cali and you store your bike for the winter. ive never stored my bike for the winter always thought that was for people who lived in the snow states, i think the longest ive gone without riding was like 2weeks,

here in cali even the winter/rain months theres always a week or two outta that month where its nothing but sunshine :D

like tomorrow 60 degrees
and the day after about the same
then after those two days rain for 5 days at least

I'm with you on this one, low's in the 40's is amazing. Its just warm enough that while wearing leathers you feel great. Here in the midwest the only reason I don't ride in the winter is the massive amounts of salt, sand, black ice and bad drivers.

Bike looks good man. Don't really agree with storing the bike in warm weather. I say if its dry out its riding time. My brother and I rode today and it was 40 degrees out and it was awesome. If you're storing your bike and you've still got 70 degree days out then I'm sorry , you need to man up.

ha.. whatever man.. say i aint got no *****.. whatever.. i ride to my preference. its normally hot as hell year round. last year we had record highs. i don't care for the cold. if i dont' feel comfortable in the winter here.. who do i need to impress about riding?

ide love to see a cold climate person come to so cal, and inland at that.. and come in the summer, and deal with 110+ highs, and me ask them why they're busting a sweat? to me.. 100 degree's is normal.. why would you dog me out for thinking 40 degree lows are perfect, when you don't see the climate im in.

yeah, im from redlands, but im still alittle hung over from last night, and i didn't really wanna hit the road on 2 wheels today..

and for the most part, the only time i can enjoy a ride in the winter is during the day time.. however, i work a swing shift m-f.. and i start at 3PM, and end at 12AM.. so you can pretty much count on it being really cold on the 10 on the way home.
