Default Whats a good b18a1 setup?

I got a 1998 honda civic dx and i have a 1997 ls motor and im getting a type r head so i wanted 2 kno if i put it on do i have 2 change the connecting rods and pistons? i heard if you rev it alot it could blow up that true or bs? I wanna rev it without blowing it up.
Whats a good way not to blow my motor up.

And i also wanted 2 kno what kind of computer should i get. should it b stock or replaced?and do i have 2 get a good ECU for it 2 like skunk 2 or sumthing like that? And another thing i need 2 kno wat parts would be good for my ls vtec like headers, intake manifold, cams, etc.

Name me all parts u think are good for my lsvtec

Thank you.
