Default Repair cost for S2000

I am going to purchase this car from a local salvage dealer. I was wondering if anyone could give me a round about estimate on the repair cost to get this S2000 on the road. I was buying it as a project and to use to drive to work. What I can tell the biggest challenge will be the interior because everything was stolen to incude the instrument panel. I went to look at the car today and everything else seem fine except a few dents in the exterior.

What I think will need to be fixed will be:

Headlights
Taillights
Body Kit
Wheels and Tires
Interior:
Seats
Center Console
Airbag Cover
Steering Wheel
Instrument Panel
Dash Components

Anything Else?

Where is the best place to get OEM parts like this?

Thanks,

Anthony

Your pictures don't work, but long story short, it's going to be super expensive.

Heads/tails aren't cheap. Airbags aren't cheap. Seats aren't cheap.

That instrument cluster will be at least $1000 new.

whoa. are you gonna buy new parts? if so i hope that car is like 7k the most. The best place to look is S2ki.com for used parts. Some are harder to come by used because who really gets rid of their stock interior parts unless they are gonna have a track dedicated automobile.

What I think will need to be fixed will be:

Headlights - $300 used
Taillights - $300 used
Body Kit - (Stock?) 100 for front and same for the rear. used
Wheels and Tires - $300. used
Interior:
Seats - $300 on the street from a civic owner 600+ from a S2k owner
Center Console $150 used
Airbag Cover grab a momo and a hub call it a day. If it has to pass inspection $400 for used stock.

Steering Wheel - see above
Instrument Panel - used $300
Dash Components - misc maybe around 100 tops.

</TD></TR></TABLE>
ninja edit: if new parts then double and triple those prices. Dont even think about buying new seats. They will cost more than what you buy that car for.

You will spend around $6000 on thae parts. The price list above is a little on the cheap side. You will not get a set of lights for $300 with the HID bulb and ballest

ye ai know lol. that is why i said you wont find many without buying from a dedicated track car. Good luck.

forgot i have a buddy who is selling a bunch of 05 parts off his car since he is selling it and putting back on his AP1 stuff. I guess you just have to know who to look through for hookups.

if you can find the parts at the right price and if the engine wasnt abused too bad when it was stolen than you could make that car pretty decent,

if you already can't source prices for parts, i really think this a bit out of your scope.
