so what can possibly be wrong with the map sensor?

so what can possibly be wrong with the map sensor?
my car acts normal till it warms up...
especially when im cruising on the freeway..
it starts dropping the throttle then my car starts jerking, i start running rich as expletive, and when i go to nuetral... my car shuts off.. in the middle of the freeway. (basically acts like the map sensor is not connected)
This never happens on a cold start or anything.
anyone think they know what the problem might be?
