90 accord wit a 95 accord ex vtec swap need help
ok i have a 90 accord just swaped in a 95 accord ex motor f22a1 to f22b1 now i need to run vtec wat computer do i need to do so ????????????i was told the p13 but not sure and if so wat car does that come in was told a prelude or vtec accord?
you can run the h22 one which is the p13, and i think a p30, a p28 should work but it needs to be chipped to run the vtec part
A p28 will work and it is a vtec ecu it comes from a sohc vtec civic (EX) it is good idea to chip it if your going to use it because of fuel trim. Any vtec ecu will work with your engine as long as the obd version is the same. Me personaly I would use the P13 but there will be a few pins that won't be used, pressure switch for vtec and the sensor for the secondary runners the H22 has.
look at a wiring diagram for the car it came out of, find which pins you need, add the pins to your harness, run the wires to the appropriate parts
ok one more question for ya huys will i need a jumper harness for the computer to plug in or am i good to go witout one???????????????????????

you use a jumper harness when going from 1 obd to another like if you had a 90 integra/civic (obd0) and you wanted to put a obd1 ecu in it
