Erm . . both quater mile and top speed

quarter mile.. a civic/integ CAN be faster. its not like they run 4's out of the box.

It'd cost some money to make the Civ/Teg faster than a R34. But in the end, it'll still be a Civic/Integra

Common Misconception: Skyline R34's are superfast
Fact of the matter is that a stock R34 does a 1/4 mile in like 14.1 sec., so a very good driver in an ITR or a slightly modified CTR can outrun a GTR.
GTR's are big and heavy, about the size and weight of a Camaro, amd make about 250 to 260whp stock.
The reason why they are so popular is because they are very good tuner cars....you can get them to produce well over 600whp for a little more than $1000 in parts....and parts are very readily available in Japan. I personally could not want a GTR if I lived anywhere other than Japan, simply because there are so many other better and faster cars for less.
