Default Need help with my power windows..

To start, I have a Del Sol and of course they all come with power windows. Well, the other day I was driving and I rolled down my driver side window and as I went to roll it back up, it didn't go up. When I hit the switch to lower it, I can hear the motor, but when I hit the switch to roll it up, I hear nothing. I tried swapping out the switches and I still have the same action. Any ideas?

i say take door panel of and take a look around. Also is there a contact in the connector (regulator motor/switch) for the up action? Something may be wrong with contacts/connections. Thats all i can think of.

There are 2 wires on the motor
Blue/White
Blue/Red

If going down, there must be 12V on the Blue/White
If going up, there must be 12V on the Blue/Red

If the up-function doesn't have 12V on the wire, you can put there 12V with a separate wire on the Blue/Red (use a 20A fuse between the wire and battery)

If it goes up, you have a problem in the cable or the control unit.
If it doesn't go up, youre motor may be damaged or a problem with the connector

when i work at woodfin honda junkyard i had to pull window motors all the time and check them befor selling they way we did that was just take a two wire positive and neg from that battery and touch the wire on the motor if it spins one way then i would switch the wire and see if it spun the other way

if you motor is bad the you should be able to use the motor from a 92-95 civic, 94-01 integra, and of course 92-98 delsol

if you motor works then it could be you window regulator is bad
