Your rod length will be determined by the crank you use.

LS crank has a longer stroke therefore you'll use LS rods since they are shorter.
GSR/ITR crank has a shorter stroke so therefore you will use GSR/ITR rods since they are longer.

Since your doing an LS/Vtec you'll be using the 89mm crank, im not sure why you listed the GSR/ITR crank (87.xx)

Well in your post you first list:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by turbohatch101 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
CRANK
Stroke 3.504 </TD></TR></TABLE>

Which is 89.0016mm

But then you state

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by turbohatch101 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Stroke 3.433"</TD></TR></TABLE>

Which is 87.1982mm

And for rods you first list

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by turbohatch101 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">RODS
length 5.394 </TD></TR></TABLE>

then

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by turbohatch101 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Rod Length 5.429"</TD></TR></TABLE>

So what do you have?

If you bought the crank that you listed tha you have an LS sized crank therefore you'll need LS sized rods.

Also, for the torque specs purchase a helms manual. This will be by far your best investment ever.

BTW, do you plan on boosting this motor?

I think you should spend some more time reading. The all motor forum (https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/44) would be a great place to start and ask questions. I am for sure not an expert, but you do not seem to know what you need to put together this motor. I feel once you do a bit of reading you will know more or less what you need for the build.

Give it a few months of due diligence and you will be rewarded.

QFT.

I research motor builds and related stuff every now and then for a while now, and I still don't think I have the knowledge to put a build together without doing a ton of more research. There's a lot of small stuff out there that can and will make a big difference.

And as Graf-fiti mentioned it does look like your just copying and pasting info.

What rods do you plan on using?
What pistons do you plan on using?
Do you plan on atleast honing the block because it seems as though your keeping the stock bore?

IMO, if your doing a full build then why not bore and sleeve, or alteast bore .25 over and use oversized pistons so you have fresh cylinders that are shaped properly.

What size turbo do you plan on using? 15-20 pounds is not a little.

I agree with winningninja, if you dont know what parts to get or even the torque specs your not ready to build a motor and should probably do some more research.

You are correct Ali. Experience definitely the key here. Why waste all the $$$, only for the motor to be less than reliable. At least the DD can help him pick out parts that will work together.
