honda acura obd2 turbo easy question
this should be an easy question for some poeple i hope.....so my EM1 civic is obd2, i was reading on this site
http://www.team-integra.net/se...=1135
so for me to go to hondata i dont have to buy both: an obd2 to obd1 harness, AND obd1 computer? i can just run my obd2 with conversion harness and straight to hondata without going through another obd1 computer

If I've read your question correctly, you're trying run a tunable ECU i.e, Hondata.
First off, you'll need an OBD1 ECU to run Hondata because it infact is part of the ECU. Hondata cannot run in an OBD2 ECU.
Secondly, you're going to need an OBD2b -OBD1 harness because OBD2 wiring does not mate to an OBD1 ECU.
So yes, you do have to buy both. On the same token, there are many engine management choices out there, Hondata and AEM EMS being among the top. There's also Crome, Uberdata and some others.
