I just picked up my set of JDM sprint hart rims. they are 14x6 and a +40 offset, I am going to be using these on a 2.5" drop, i am just wondering the tire size that the civic uses is 185-65-14 will there be any rubing issues

I am guessing you should be okay. From my understanding that wheel/tire combo is essentially a stock set up.

you getting a camber kit or just a straight drop?

 

That's the right tire size; you can also use 195/60-14, for which there are more (and better) tire choices.

If it rubs, it's because of the drop, not because of the tire size. So if it does, do something about the cause of the problem; don't try to compensate by using the wrong tire size too.

 

I have the Skunk2 front and rear camber kit, so yeah would be like a drop on the factory size rims all that is different is that I am using a aftermarket rim
