Are you pulling the factory CD Player? Or is it an aftermarket unit?

If it's aftermarket, you'll need to use the removal keys that came with the radio. "Removal keys" you ask? They're the little strips of metal that you will need to slide down the sides of the radio which release the clips holding the deck in the mounting "cage".

it is aftermarket and i know exactly what you are talking about.. so there wont be any screws holding the cd player in correct? just the retainer clips and i can use those removal tools and slide it right out? i appreciate the info

Well, there really should be a screw holding the unit in, but most of the time, people don't put backstraps in, so no, there are probably no screws holding it in.

If you insert the keys, and you can't pull it out, it may be backstrapped behind the radio.

if it is how do i get it out because it was professionally installed so it is very possible that has screws holding it in from the sides.

Not in a 92-95 Civic it's not.

This may help... http://www.installdr.com/Insta...7.pdf
It is for the removal of the stock HU but it is the same process to access the back support for an aftermarket HU, [if there is one].

It is very unlikely the screws are in the side of the HU, [but not impossible], more then likely it will be a single screw through the stock back support into a "L" shaped piece of back bracing bolted to the back of the HU. 94
