im getting ready to order a jdm dc sports header,2.5" cat ,apex n1,aem fuel pressure regulater,toda cam gears,apex vafc, act 6 puck, toda 9lb flywheel , now i no those are some good first mods its just i found some ctr pistons an rods for a incrdible price, an wanna no if i put them in with what mods i have planned will they work well together i no it will give me aproximitly 12-5-1 compression ,i have 94 octane gas around the corner so that no prob but will it make good power without cams an such , or could i put some titanium valvesprings an titanium retainers an get a rechipped ecu whould that help by raising the redline a little to make a little more power

i dunno any an all help whould be great

More compression is always better.

 

Umm, so many things at the same time sounds a little risky, unless a good engine builder is going to do the job for you.
I'd suggest to start with the boltons and experience the changes and tune.

 

Why not just get some JDM ITR pistons 11.1 good enough and dont have to worry about ****. I would rather get the Spoon balanced JDM ITR pistons for $300 and get a mugen head gasket and run 11.5.1 compression and tune that less chance of detination and can make over 200WHP with tunning and cam gears couple of oem guys here pushing 200+

 

are the jdm itr pistos bettter than ctr , an do guys really think i could get 200whp with that setup

.....just go with the ctr pistons, cam gears, ecu tuning (or vafc), and i/h/e to start.

That compression isn't too high.

Then when your clutch starts to go, do that and flywheel.

Have fun, it'll be a nice upgrade over stock (if you insist on building allmotor).
