HELP.....B18a1 swap won't start!! Need to go to work!!!
Hi I have a 91 Hatch and a B18a1 swap. I hooked up everything. I checked my wiring, grounds, and everything that I "think" needed to start this baby up. Only thing that works is my lights and horn. When I turn the key I get no spark, fuel, and no click or anything from starter. The only click I get is from the ignition. I changed ecus and changed relay under hood and still nothing. I don't know what else to do. I am not a genius with hondas like some of you guys. I can do the basic stuff like swapping motors and wiring stuff. I have 2 days to get this things working cause I have to go to work. Someone please help me asap.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
I checked the grounds and all the wiring is good. I triple checked everything and still got nothing. I took my brothers harness off the car and still nothing. Then I tried my harness on his car and his car started right up.
I am stuck. I again checked the relays and fuses and everything is good.

Man it's silly but check your grounds just swapped LS in my hatch and wouldn't start i looked at everthing.Sanded my grounds on the body and the wires ends and she fired right up.
Here is an update....I changed all my fuses and my fuel pump is now working. I checked all my relays and they are good. I added more grounds to my engine and still the starter won't turn over. I don't even get a "tick" from the starter. I tested the starter by jumping it and it spin with no problem. I just don't know why it won't spin when I turn the ignition. :-(

hey if thats the case its ur starter....
the solenoid in the starter is not good no more the wiring inside it.
if u can replace it. or just buy a brand new starter.
thats what i did
same problem
starter turns when u manually do it, but wont crank.

---YOUR CLUTCH PEDDEL SWITCH ---
ok ---
If the battery, starter, ignition, is good.
try-
there is a switch on your CLUTCH peddle if it is bad it wont let you start your car, (turn your starter over) nothing.
BUT if the switch is good check your clutch peddle arm there is a little plastic black cap that hits the switch. if its not there put somthing there so the switch can hit it or you can bypass the switch by pulling the clip off and runing a wire to each end...
or dose your car have any old or new alarms system?
check those fuse's.
good luck.
