well i purchased a lip from heeltoeauto for my 88-89 usdm bumper (made sure it was a usdm lip) and it says it fits the usdm si bumper when i received it. i test fit it on my 88 std bumper it it fits... kinda, not very well atleast. my question is are all 88 bumpers the same or is is there any difference between the si's, dx's, and std's?

Are you using oem hardware to mount it to the bumper?

that picture looks to be a 90-91 lip...maybe you got the wrong year...

 

i also have a 90-91 bumper to and it doesnt fit that either....

 

so you are sure you have a 88-89 lip? pics would be best

well when i put it on the 88-89 it fit on but not well like the cruves on the side did match and its more curvier in the fron, and on the 90-91 the sides didnt even reach the end of the bumper....

 

that dont look like a 88-89 one to me.....maybe for a Civic Hatch???

you. i have one. doesnt look like that. looks more like 90-91 usdm lip , just wider/fatter

 

its def not a 90-91 usdm lip. it fits the 88-89 usdm but the curves dif

 

put it on and take pics of the bad fitment. i would like to see how it curves differently. if you dont mind

 

it could just be warped ... try bolting it all up and heat gun it .... but to me it looks really curved kinda like the jdm lip ...

Well I made my own custom lip lol, all the people that have seen it think its the SiR lip but the truth is i took it from an integra and i cut off the end a bit and used sand paper to make the tips smooth , and really it fits perfectly all the bolts and holes fit perfect ,its a lil longer then the SiR (because i compared them together) and it was alot cheaper, found it off a integra that was crashed behind in the junk yard so the front rear was perfect , so was the lip, it was cheaper and its not the real one but its a lil longer and looks better and payed $9.75 for it!!

 

what year and model integra did the lip come off of?
