How old are your spark plug wires? How old is your distributor cap?

Your plug wires probably need to be replaced.

And they continuously keep falling/slidding off the dizzy cap?

Did you use OEM parts? A buddy of mine while on track at Sebring had his MSD plug wires fall off a few times. Ended up going back to OEM with no problems.

If you want to keep the wires, zip tie them on. I switched to MSD and had the same problem until i zip tied them on.
