Default Crank sensor problem

I just did a swap for a customer a b16 in a 97 integra Ls, the car starts up fine but then there's one code p1337 that pops up and i thinks its the crank sensor, the only thing i did was swap out the obd0 oil pump to a obd2 oil pump so i can hook up the crank position sensor everything is hook up fine but my question is can i use the b18b1 crank sensor on the b16? or do i have to use a b16 crank sensor? i think they're the same right??? anybody have any ideas? also the engine idle high 2-2500rpm and it rev up and down.

so you put a non vtec oil pump on a vtec engine, you have a vacum leak somewhere....do you have the crank gear from the ls on there too or did you use the same crank gear?

i just did something almost the same as u did. i put in a 94 gsr in my 97 ls. i use the b18b oil pump. got an obd2 gsr dissy and ecu. i took the crank gear from the b18b and sensor and put it on there it works fine for me. did the time. using my old non v-tec wiring harness. about to hard wire some wires. how did u wire ur v-tec and knock sensor. did u ground them out on the block or did u ran it all the why back to the ecu. im talk about the ground. and what side of the pig tail did u put the power on. i havent done it yet. dont know if its safe to ground it to the block..

Its a brand new OEM GSR oil pump with the old b18b crank sensor and crank pully, vtec/knock sensor is all hook up straight to the ecu and i bypass the vtec oil pressure, i also did a vacuum leak tests and everything seems fine.

did u hook up the gear pully. its the lil pully that the timing belt goes on. the obd1 and obd0 is not the same as the obd2. the obd2 has big teeth at the back for for the sensor to read the timing. u might have not put in the right timing belt pully. i did a 94 gsr swap
in my 97 ls and it runnings perfect and no codes. thats the only thing i can think of that u might have done wrong.

p1337 is RPM fluctuation sensor no signal so that could be the issue with the rpms
