Default Who has experience with Endyn's smaller chambers?

I'm planning on entering the Touring Class in the CCTC (Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship) and I have to keep OEM pistons.

I have A JDM B18C (type R) and when speaking with Larry form Endyn, he suggested CNC chambers that he can get down to 39cc which would yield 12:1 compression.

Who has had something like this done???

Will run with eighter Endyn's cams or my current SK2 Pro 1+, Endyn custom Intake manifold and a Rage small tube header!

Cheers

Why = Stronger mid range. I have a 4.40FD trany with ATS close ratio gears so I don'thaveto rev it to 9000 to fall back in the power ban. I would like to shift it arround 8500 for longterm reliability and I need the strong mid range for coming out of the corners as well!!

I'm open to suggestions!!!!

Cheers

then why use a high rpm cam and manifold? Then use a B16 header?

The intake manifold will be custom made By Larry to helpt 6000-7500rpm range. As for the cams, I know my current PRO1+ have a a un-usable power ban..to high. As for the Rage Small tube header, I noticed a big torque gain on my current setup over my old Spoon one piece header!

I have a set of Toda Spec B camshafts that I like but, I have been told that they are bad on valvetrain stability??

Cheers

When I removed My spec Bs to replace them with the PR0 1+, I had to remove fuel all the way up to 7500rpm, the I was at par untill 8400rpm and them I had to ad more fuel till 9200. I played arround with the cam gears and 8650rpm is the lowest I could get the peak power without loosing to much peak whps...Vtec was at 6400 rpm and the power-ban really just strated at 7500 so weak when coming out of corners!!

I only had 11.3:1 Comp and no port work so I could of been over camed

Cheers

dont talk bad about the custom intake manifold .. thats what i got Larry did my head and matched the intake manifold to maximize mid and upper mid powerrange. paired with his cams and a good exhausat with stock pistons mines a beast!!! if larry says itll be good trust him it will!

Thanks

Just stay stock, you'll have fewer problems.

Yep I desirved that lol

Stock power will put me in the back of the field regardless on driver skills or Chassis setup but I agree on the fewer problems!
