Default D16y7 -> b16a2 Knock sensor

I swapped a b16a2 from a 99si in my 98dx hatch with a d16y7. Ive done some searching and looked at my harness at the ecu and apparently the y7 does not have a ECU pin input for a KS. However i have the KS plug on my harness. I looked it up and it should be Pin6 on the D connector at the ECU Red/blue i do not have this wire. Im just confused to why i would have the plug but not have it be looked at on the ECU. Do i need to run the wire from the KS to the ecu myself? And where would i be able to pick up shielded wire that i need for this. Thanks

You dont need shielding wire for the KS.

Y7 do not come with knock sensors. Maybe pervious owner had a swap or something. Either way just wire it up and your good to go. If you need a pin use the orange pin that you knock out from the 3wire IAC.

When I dropped a B16A into my EH2, I ran a wire from the KS through the firewall to the ECU. Don't remember what the pin location was in the ECU plug.
