where can i find replacment gears for a y1 lsd tranny??

where can i find replacment gears for a y1 lsd tranny??

im looking into rebuilding my tranny... if anybody knows of any links that will supply parts for this tranny i would greatly apprecieate it

correct me if I'm wrong people but doesn't the ITR trans have a lot of the same gearing that the YS1 has?

i talked to them and they say that the gears for the y1 r discontinued

why do u want to replace the gears? just replace the synchro's and sleeves,also the bearings. thats what u want to do in a rebuild.

Those gears are no longer available unless you get a custom set made.

the gears sre not what gets damaged..its the synchros that are made of soft metal.

Gearspeed does NOT have them. however, i have seen an advertisement in a magazine stating that PRO-STREET has them in stock.

Wait, honda has discontinued them?

Dang...honda's discontinued ALL the EF stuff, haven't they. I couldn't get the door runners (sills...whatever) from them, either, and I'm i need to complete my resto...

that's because the door sills come on the carpet. yes, you can still get that.
