i try to start my car and nothing happens...no clicking or anything..the light dont dim and radio works,...tried the hammer trick and still nothing...can it be completely died?...also can a d16z6 vtec solenoid fit on a gsr? my boy said it could but im not sure.

 

first check fuse to the starter and then also make sure all the wiring is connected and tight on the starter... had those two problems with mine, fuse was blown and a wire was lose on it and wouldnt turn over...

 

not sure about the starter thing, but on the vetc solenoid i think someone in a different thread, said that they were the same. but don't take my word for it, you should hear other opinions or search.

 

depending on the year integra, it seems to be a common thing...things can get tempermental...my car sometimes does that...i found that my ignition coil and module were rotting, just dying on me...also could possibly be a starter solenoid, things dont usually go...but if the engine is not turning over, take the car to auto zone and get them to test the starter inside the car...they can do those sorts of things these days

 

i got it got a new starter and it starts now
