I got the same idea going through my mind as well. Getting the lowering springs until the OEM shocks go.

I would imagine that the life would be cut in half...but how long would that be anyway?

same here I was thinking about some com-tech springs but did not want to trash the shocks just yet. then I thought about the HFP shocks for $500 witch might be the best way to go, until I get the money for a complete TEIN set up. does anyone know about the life of our stock shocks with lowering springs???

H-Techs will work fine on stock shocks & struts. Won't sit as low, but lower than stock

Have S-Techs on my sedan with stock shocks. Just recently blew a shock on a nasty dip..... been on for a strong 15k with me beating them to death. Time for full coilovers.

yes, so why would you put coilovers on the front and not on the back. dont they come in a set of 4?

they come in a set of 4 i was just asking because that picture he stated that the shocks/springs were separate and he only showed a picture of the rear not the front.
