Make sure its fairly straight and the splines are lined up (twist it around until you feel it start to sink in, you should be able to tell when its straight) then tap it with a mallet or something. How hard was the axle to get out, and did you get the whole axle out and not just rip the cv boot in half and the outside section out (just asking to make sure) ?

i got everthing out, but it was fairly difficult to get it out but realized that i had to kinda twist it out! so when i put the axle into the transmission, i turn it till it kinda locks to watever it locks too, but still cant snap the whole thing in for some reason!

Well they deff dont twist out, lol. I think the reason it "snaps is because of the rings toward the end, is the on it, and are you putting it in the right way and not backwards by chance?

Find the end with ring on it, its like maybe 1 inch from the very end (of its end). That one goes towards the tranny, try to have the shaft straight, line the plines, and push till you feel it snap. Also look at the axle you pulled for refference

Try having someone else spin the other axle(tire) while you put the axle in.Just kinda move it

Also try what jdm said, and just have it fairly straight and use a mallet i guess. May check the tranny input if its just not going smooth as well.
