Default type r ecu?

motor, b18c1
ecu, p30

question is, ive been wanting to upgrade to some type r cams, but i dont have enough money for hondata. is there a way i can chip the ecu to run like a type r ecu? do they sell a chip or anything? i went on ebay, and they had a "type r chip" but im not sure if it mods the ecu to type r specs...

any input welcome. thanks in advance

Yes, if your ecu is chipped, xenocron.com offers the chip (i think the least you can buy is 5) and they have a option which is them putting base maps on it for you (i think its $15 extra for the burns).

If on ebay maybe, but be careful theres a lot of type r wierd stuff on ebay. Xenocron.com has a ebay store, its xenocron tuning solutions, message them and ask if you can buy chips with a type r or b18c5 base map.

yes, b18c5 or type r, but i would recommend xenocron b/c they have 100% feedback, and are reliable i believe. If not them just make sure its a reliable person with good feedback.
