Default front lower control arm thread stripped...

so my bushings for my front passenger side control arm needed to be replaced. i took them off and got them replaced. then when i was trying to put them back in, one of the screws wouldnt tighten anymore. i took the screw back out and saw that the metal shavings from the thread came all off. the screw wasnt strip whatsover, but the hole is messed up now. how would i go about fixing this? itd be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Take a tap and try to recover the threads, or just get heli-coils.

Oh no, did you cross thread it? Just what he said heli-coil it or try to retap it.
