i was just wondering on what u guys thoughts were about what would be a good swap? i've have many thoughts about many differnt motor swap just need to decide what i want to do. the choices are h23/vtec N/A or h23/Vtec turbo, h22a N/A or h22a turbo, h2b, b16a N/A or b16a turbo, b18b turbo, b18b/vtec, b20b/vtec, b20b turbo, or sohc turbo. this wold be in my 94 civic coupe. i have all these motors by the ways adn just wondering what would be a nice D.D swap! i'm moving toward the h2b or b20b/vtec! not sure thought yet. any thoughts would be nice.

Sure. SEARCH. Noobs post similar threads atleast 5-10 times per day.

We don't know which swap is better for you, because we don't know what you want to use the car for, or how much power you are trying to achieve, how much money you have, etc. etc.

If you lack technical knowledge, stay away from frankenstein setups like b20-v, and also any turbo setups. Stick with a straight swap that won't be a huge issue for you down the road.

 

my favorite swaps so far is a jdm d15b vtec turbo, or a b20 crv non vtec all motor

 

x2, use search, and the thead at the beginning of the forum that has to do with swaps.

 

well, it's not like i'm a noob or anything, it may have sounded like that but its not, i just have all these motors and i'm finding it hard to pick one to go with, just woundering what everyone thoughts were thats it. i have a rough idea of what power and what not i want and know the pros adn cons to each one. just wondering thats it!

 

You may not be a noob, but they're are plenty of them that has asked about all these motors im sure, and theres a ton of info of them. You may even find the info using search faster than others will responding to this

 

It's really best that you do your own research and base your decision off of that instead of getting others to say why THEY like different engines.

 

dude u just pretty much said hey i have a honda adn listed all the possible motor combs in the world adn said hey what should i get.. like every pone else says do resurch. do resurch do resurch.. there are alot of people on here that are more then welcome to help people out.. but damnit man press the seach button once in a while.. go to advanced they have a book is 20 bucks and it says on teh front. HONDA PERFORMANCE go read it then that will tell u what motor u want..

Let's start off with a category, PICK ONE.

You CANNOT throw an all motor B16A in the same category as a BOOSTED H23/VTEC.

^^^ These should always be stated when asking for advice as to what motor to choose for *blank* car. Maybe a forum rule should be implemented and any new member/poster who chooses to ignore it should lose % just like every other forum.
