Default HUGE PROBLEM DOES NOT LIGHT UP AT ALL

okay i just bought my gsr and i notcied that my speed omet and all does not light up. i was in freeway at night and i couldnt see. they turned on in morning bright blue and after 1 minute turned off. i need problem fixed, only things that light up is the numbers for how many miles . my friend says i do not have original set and that i have an aftermarket one here is a pic during the day.

Your friend is right, Those are not OEM. They are aftermarket. Pull it out and check wiring and relays.

i pulled it out and wow i dont know what i am looking at and were to check i just dont want to make easy fix hard.

might be bulbs cause i dont see how it can just turn off after 1 min. might be wiring too

just take the aftermarket guage faces off... they should just be taped to the stock guage faces and then see if it lights up. If so then you have a problem with the aftermarket ones

they definately look like just covers that go over your original gauges. you can gently slide them off over the needles without takeing on the needle. Just be careful. Your original gauges are under them and they are probably still lighting up fine since those white faced gauges have their own light source. Hopefully they are taped on and not super glued like mine were when i bought the car from some one

Just a slight observation, but you may want to have your temp gauge needle checked. From the looks of the picture, your car is off, but the temp is up????

I think that you're staring at the wrong needle... Temp is on the left.

My brother had those indiglo gauges in his civic and they go out on him sometimes too. I'm pretty sure if your bulbs for your stock gauges aren't dead then it's a wiring problem. IMO I would just revert to the stock gauges and get LEDs to replace your stock bulbs
