Hello, I wanted to know by popular demand what would you do. I can get Tein SS w/ Pillow Ball Mounts for around $350-400 Used for about a year for daily driving. Other than that they look really good and been in the CRX that they were on.
Excuse the NuB ? on Sus. But can anyone let me know if you can tell if a shock is blown or not by pushing down on the rod?
OR
Since I have the money to purchase a more expensive coilover, then I should go for brand new Buddy Clubs or Koni Yellow w/ GC coilover and looking at around $700-900
Is this a deal I should not pass up?

I have had my tein SS for like 3 months or so of daily driving. I thought mine were a pretty good buy brand new for much more than you are paying. I would just confirm the condition with the owner and really look them over closely. Ask about the mileage rather than the amount of time they were on the car...

If you want to do that, then do that. Honda-Tech shouldn't be dictating your every move.
If you were really serious about asking for our help, you probably would have indicated the vehicle that you drive and what you typically do with it, in addition to what you are looking to achieve by changing your suspension.
Frankly, it sounds like you've already made up your mind and will be selectively looking for responses that reinforce your decision.

No bumping.

For sure. Perhaps you have done it before? If so, what's a ball park price they charge to rebuild all 4?

I'd love to have the EDFC controller for mine. However, it probably wouldn't be cost effective as my car doesn't see enough track days to take full advantage of the controller. If I had some extra cash that I literally had nothing to spend it on The EDFC may be further up the need list for me. Also, someone mentioned overly soft spring rates...I have never noticed this on mine, but I haven't gotten to take it out on a track day yet either. All I know is that the SS's are perfect for my everyday performance driving in terms of stiffness and adjustability. We have some pretty twisty and turny roads around here and my Teins + my Azenis eat them up.
