Default Another REAL OR FAKE Volk TE37's...

I just got these on a really good deal. Just making sure they are real. They have Ray Stickers on the inside of the wheel, Ray Valve Stems. Just wanted to maker 100% sure they are 100% real. As I've not seen many sets in Silver.. If you need any info off of them they are right here on my balcony.. LOL On with the pics. Thanks

I know the pics are horrible lmk if you need better pics.. Sorry

From what I can see, I'm going to say they're real.

mercury silver volks come with black stickers...
also the valve stem is supposed to be lined up with one of the lug nut wholes
finally it doesn't say 'rays' behind the wheel hub
so fake...

Yeah it doesn't say Rays behind the wheel hub. My friend who owned them pulled the stickers off of three of them because he was going to buy them. And it appears that the valve stem is straight across from the lug hole, but I've never heard of that and I've looked at other ones and they are not straight across... Hmmmmm I guess maybe they are fake.

But who would go through all the trouble of putting the Ray Valve Stems, Stickers, and inside the wheel stickers? Plus I've owned rota grids before and they are no where as light as these wheels.

Well I'm kinda bummed out now. Is there anything else that will prove if they are real or fake? Are every TE37's stamped for Rays Eng?

These silver ones have blue stickers.... Ru sure they only come with black?

I was thinking they might be Konig Countersteers like mine...though the valve hole and lugs aren't aligned the same. Plus the hubs seem to have different ridges. Both 16"

I'll go ahead and say these look authentic to me. Mine look exactly the same, only white.

I'm gonna say real as well. On the Grids, the valve stem should line up with one of the lugs. On real TE's the lug is off set.

I would say those are real, due to the alignment of the lugs with the spaces between the spokes and the valve stem alignment. The spokes also look to be the right thickness. Do you have any pics of the stickers?

The best way to find out if they are real though is by weighing them. knock offs are usually heavy (around 17lbs).

They're legit. The most commonly used fake TE37 are the Rota Grids. A quick way to spot if they are fake is see if the lug holes match up with the rim spokes. I've seen a guy try to sell Grids with ray's stickers on them claiming to be TE37 and someone pointed out that real Volk TE37 lug holes are off set from the rim spoke pattern.

Shouldn't the volks have "Rays Eng" or "Forged" stamped in the inner hub?! I know my SF's have that....
