I have a 1991 Honda Accord EX 5 speed, 400,000 km.My problem is it idles at 1600 rather then the normal. I;m not sure how to fix this does anyone have any idea? I appreciate your help

 

listen to the motor in idle for any vacume hose leaks, try spraying some brake cleaner around some vac hoses to hear any idle changes

 

check to see if some mental midget tightened up the throttle cable to jack up the idle, there should be a little slack in the cable.

 

Ok well i tried cleaning the IACV and now it idles at 600 but stalls as son as i put another load on the engine such as moving the steering wheel, ac, etc. If i rev it, once i let off the gas it almost stalls, drops below 500 rpm's
