Default Thermostat issue.....

I have two questions, the first one is - will any b-series thermostat work for a JDM B16A, i'm pretty sure it will but I want to be positive on this, and the second question is - I went and bought one at the Honda Dealership and they sold me a thermostat with the part #19301-P08-316 and will this one work for my motor. The only reason I am asking this is because the guy that was working looked like his head was straight up his ***.

Thanks man, I was just reading and realized it could be my temp. sensor and not my thermostat, the reason i got the new thermostat was because when i would start my car since it is so cold it just dies right away after the first start of the day or if it hasnt been started in awhile, then when i try again after it dies, it starts right up, plus when i'm driving it she stays cold, then at idle it warms up and i figured it was the thermostat. If anyone has any other ideas on what it could be that would be awesome to know.
