What is Considered a 'Low Mileage' 98 ITR?
I agree...less than 15K miles is acceptable as a low mileage car although some sources still say it should be less than 12K miles a year.
So, 98 with less than 60k miles is cool but less than 48k miles is ideal. Also depends on the date the car was purchased. I got my 2000 in the first week of December '99 so you would expect mine to have more miles on it than one bought in July of 2000.

Less than 10 K miles, total!
You did say "low mileage", didn't you.
Sounds like you're actually asking what is "average" mileage, from these responses.

Average is 12-15k. If your looking at Kelly blue book then your going to be at 12k a year to be "within" normal driving miles per year, if that helps.
Ask Glen (LeftLaner) what his definition of low mileage. His 98 has less than 10K miles! Instantly makes my 98 with 33K a beat up high mileager.

Average varies depending on the model, and with the ITR, it varies all over the place.
For example, most GS-Rs are driven as daily drivers, so 12-15K miles per year is probably about average. It's pretty unusual to find one with less than 10K miles per year on it.
With NSXs, most are NOT driven as daily drivers, and about 5K miles per year is probably about average.
With the ITR, you've got a mix. Some people use them as daily drivers and put 15-20K miles per year (or more) on them. Others store them for the winter and only use them on the track or for special occasions. So - unlike the GS-R - you've got a good percentage of ITRs with lots of miles on them, and a good percentage of ITRs with low miles on them.
I would consider an ITR with over 12K miles/year on it to be relatively high mileage, and one with less than 8K miles/year to be relatively low mileage. Obviously, even within those categories, some cars have higher/lower mileage than others (duh).

so, to sum it up:
a 98 ITR with 2 miles on it would be considered "low miles"
a 98 ITR with 200,000 would be considered "high mileage"
hope this has helped
