Default Civic mud/splash guards

Are 96-98 civic coupe splash guards the same as 99-00 splash guards?

No they're not.

There are the following styles:
- '96-'98 coupe/sedan mud guards
- '99-'00 coupe/sedan mud guards
- '96-'00 hatch mud guards

This is because of the rear bumper change on the coupes and sedans. The '96-'98 coupe/sedan rear bumper curls under while the '99-'00 coupe/sedan rear bumper curls under and then back out at the bottom. The fronts are the same. It's the rears that are not.

The front mud/splash guard will fit, but the rears won't!!!!! You can custom the rear and have'em cut to fit on the 99-00 civic's....

But why try to make things fit (and possibly mess up) when you can buy ones that fit right away?

Btw, the mud guards are discontinued.

Thanks for otherwise reiterating what I said though.
