Default Finally! 8 o ate + 237.3whp= a car that runs!

I finally finished my new motor setup and got to tune it. Keep in mind this is a street car, not a full out race car Big thanks to Method Motorworks and Revspeed for the "Soy Sauce" I know there is more power in this motor if I get a new header and fix a couple little issues. but 237.3 on a DynoJet 248 with no VSS and a restricting header aint bad for a street car. Im just REAL happy with the car and how it feels, very strong through the entire band.

Setup:
• Block: B18C1
• 84.5mm Darton MID Sleeves
• 11.8:1 Arias Pistons
• Eagle Rods
• ARP head studs

• B16A2 Head
• Portflow Port & polish.
• Multi-angle valve job
• Bronze valve guides
• Ferrea Valves
• BC4 Cams
• Pro-Fab Exhaust manifolD
• Stock ITR Intake Manifold
• RC 440cc injectors
• Hondata s200

Graph:

Pics of the car for reference (dont mind the dirty status, its been sitting for a year and a half!)

Engine Shot (Dont hate on the Wiggins blue tape series! HAHA)

great numbers, seems like a semi basic build that pulled some good results.

Is this just another post/thread with the intent of selling the magical "soy sauce" ? If not, post what the fuel cocktail is. Otherwise, i vote this thread should be locked.

I vote that you should STFU, this is a thread to post what numbers I made as a result of my long time running build. I dont know the cocktail, or wont pretend to know it. If you want to know what he does with his "Soy Sauce", then make a thread or PM Revspeed, dont ruin mine...thanks

There was already a thread or 2 created and subsequently locked due to this secretive fuel. Those are good numbers, but did you see what the motor does without the extra oxidizer?

It's Xmas don't let that other thread ruin the info in this one.

OP, those are some very good numbers and a reasonably simple build.

Good #'s. Didnt mean to jump on the thread, but if you read through the other two, it really got quite annoying. Youre setup made good power off "the sauce" so its a little more tolerable here.

Understandable. I know the last 2 threads were hard to read and got out of hand. The OP is the guy that tuned this car. So I know he is very secretive, but does a good job.

the 225whp run was through the muffler with soysauce
on 91 the best run was 209whp on open headers
237 whp is on open headers

this setup ran out of injectors
this car will make over 240+
i didn t even get to adjust the cam gears yet

so basically, it makes 210whp on pump, what i'm guessing you will be using 9 times outta 10.

go to the track.

not true, It made 210 on 91. This car doesnt get driven much, so the times it will be running...9 out of 10 it will be running on either the special mixture or race gas. So 237 will be the normal driving around HP. I might take it to the track once, or twice. But like I said before. This is a street car, meant for the streets

interesting.....so it's a street car that runs on race gas all the time? Doesn't sound very economical.

a setup like that should be making more than 210 on pump .. maybe u should try a different intake setup and watch it get 237 on pump instead of soy sauce .. then who knows what it ll make with that soy sauce

why should it make more than 210? because you have seen other dyno's that are higher?

I plan on it, this car is far from done. Money is running tight so getting it running smooth with the current setup is my 1st priority.

I think you are confusing Street car with a Daily driven car. The car is not meant to be a full drag car built for the track. This is my fun "weekend" car. Where it will probably use 5 gallons a week (at most) wont break the bank. And since when did this hobby become economical?

TWM's were apain in the ***, would make just as much power on a ported intake mani n tb, plus i wanted the reliability. Maybe down the road I will get some todas or something else, but no TWM! When you commin to the No jeff?

ITB's have serious potential. But TWM's are just not where its at. Once you get over the bling/sound factor, its a bit dissapointing, isnt it?
