clutch problems

cant put car in gear when running and wants to move even when clutch is pushed down but everything seems to working properly

Sounds like you need a new slave cylinder for you clutch.

so do you think the slave cylinder is not properly disengauging the clutch

yep, check the fluid, bleed it, if that fails, you need a new slave cylinder.
