i bouth this car almost exactly a year ago and i have had problems with it passing smog. i went the first time and the mechanic said it was my egr valve. so i went to a junk yard and got one that was in good condition and went back and they then said i don't kno wuts wrong with it. well just recently i went back to see if it would pass again, and the mechanic then said that the emission is supposed to be under 900 NO and mine was hitting about 2200... i asked him wuts the issue and he said it might be the 16 hose is not vaccuming.. my question is how about do i get this 16 hose to vaccum? its killin me and i've been drivin around with a temporary permit which i get pulled over constantly because the cops can't see the permit through my tint...

 

Do a full tune up on it.

Sparkplugs
Sparkplug Wires
Dizzy
Oil Change
Air Filter clean/replace
Seafoam it
Fuel Injector cleaner
etc

If you post up the results of the emission test people may be able to help you more.
