im trying to install a new cd player after mine lost power it just shut off and took the dash clock out with it. now with the new cd player im not getting any power what so ever. if u can help just comment

Remote wire is bad, and / or fuse.

 

I'm 100% sure its a fuse. it is most likely, believe it or not, under the hood. I had the same exact problem with 2 del sols, in both of them i was installing, something went wrong, and I had no power, and no clock. and the fuse is under the hood in them. The stereo and clock are on the same one.

 

it should be a 7.5 amp fuse under the hood that says "back up"

 

It has to be a fuse/relay
Its not the radio because it took the clock too.
