Default Where to mount aftermarket navigations?

I got a nuvi 350 for christmas i dont know where to mount it. It came with a one sided sticky circle thing. So i have no idea how that is suppose to keep it still? it just slides right off. but it did also come with window sticky too. Post pictures of your aftermarket navi?

Thank you!!

and merry Christmas!!!!

I beleive the sticky part on the mount is also a suction cup. I'd put it on the dash as well

I just got a Tomtom 720 and so far have it mounted in the cubby behind the stick shift. It looks tiiight. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow

I like it down there because its not a theft attraction, and it sits well in that spot, within arm reach. Also night mode is sick, perfectly matches the blues of the stereo and speedo

what SUCKS about its placement is that the charger won't fit, so its only good for 5 hours until it has to be removed to charge. But haven't had that long of a road trip so no worries yet.

I 'mounted' my C330 in the little cubby behind the shifter. It rarely loses the satellite signal and it has an 8-hour rechargeable battery so there is no wire spaghetti. A very small square of Velcro keeps it from sliding around, the screen is shielded from sunlight, it's out sight from would-be thieves, and the touch screen is in easy reach.

If you don't have an internal battery, you can also hardwire it.
