There are Pro's and Con's to both. In the long run, you have more options if you go with a turbo, they work great in general for any 92-00 civic inline 4-cylinder motor (D's & B's). Superchargers have their advantages as well, but IMHO i see them as appealing more to the honda/acura's with K-series motors (RSX's and SI's) Either way, do all your research and homework before making any choice, because proper installation and tuning is key to any forced induction application to make it last in the long run.

If you want reliable and something you can "forget" after installation go with the supercharger.

I'd suggest a turbo though, always for reasons of power/ powerband and possabilities of setup.

I have a jackson racing supercharger and just got it in July. I bought it used for $900 and I couldn't resist buying it. I am very happy with it but it's like you get stopped by the pulley's they make. I am at eight pounds and I love it but I am addicted to boost and always want to go faster. I would go turbo if you want to keep building and keep going faster.

Turbo for the greater potential of power/torque available.
