Default Stock B16a Dyno results - Tuned by Mase

Hi All,

Just had the car tuned by mase using VAFC V1;

JDM B16a
Stock Intake arm with filter on end
RMF Narrow
RSR GT2 exhaust with decat

Had a a problem with the o2 sensor going duff. Dyno run on 215/40/17's with the dyno reading 8-10 whp lower than other dyno's. Pleased with the results as mase only had the vafc to tune. With a 3" intake + stack and smaller wheels i'd expect to hit 160whp+.

For reference we had a built B18C6; Toda Forged Oversized pistons, Eagle crank, Carillo Rods, Toda B's, Skunk 2 TB / IM (not sure on size of TB) - 184whp on S300

Stock JDM K20A with mugen Exhaust / BMC Intake - 191whp.

Don't mind the blood mark

Please leave your comments, thanks for looking.

thanks , quite suprised that mase could tune it pretty well with the vafc. I get a hesitation from 2.3K due to the bad o2 sensor and it can actually be seen on the dyno.

thanks quick and rob

hanv't done a compression test, I think i'll change to a 3" cai, replace the stock tb to a 66mm and a ITR IM. Possibly change the clutch and flywheel at a later date but for a b16 it pulls damn well!
