i put a ls vtec swap with a gsr head in my crx( i know its a teggy thread but i need some help)...

when i turn the car to the on position, the vtec solenoid clicks once.
also im getting a water/air temp CEL. i am running the motor OBD0 and piggy back off a non vtec chipped single cam ecu.

when i did the swap i did a wire tuck and relocated the fusebox and battery...
dont know if something wen wrong there.

and i need a vacuum diagram also.... snail intake manifolds are a bitch.

sounds like its wired wrong.

 

I am thinking that the coolant temp sensor and the vtec solenoid have a very simliar plug-in. Could you have maybe switched that, or maybe switched the wiring when you tucked it? Good luck?

 

i know vtec runs off oil, and water temp, etc....
and im getting a water temp cel. so im pulling the whole engine wire harness off to see if something got crossed or might be gronded out.

hopefully i can run down whats wrong, if not then i guess its time to throw my OBD1 stuff in it.

i swear, flippen vtec and running it piggy back sucks.

just got off the phone with my friend and i guess i need 0 gauge wire when you do a battery relocate.
so i guess im going to move the battery back up front in my small *** crx engine bay. gayyyyyyyyy.
