Someone is going to have fun with this thread.

All stock engines can handle boost, but without any kind of goal or budget, there's no way we can give you a realistic answer...

LS motors are great to boost bc of the low comp. pistons, but B18C1's are good too, has more power and has good ole' VTEC(no H in there ), but how much power do you want to make???

ls motors can handle boost a little better because they have a lower comp. ratio.

True ONLY as far as they can handle more boost on a certain grade of fuel, but since the heads flow like ****, they dont make as much power with that boost...also since they have lower compression, they have worse off-boost response. My personal choice (and my DD) would be a GSR turbo. It has a great powerband and a nicely geared tranny...

vtech? u planin on callin someone. come on man. but if your gonna turbo and engine i personally like the ls. just spend the money and build it right and youll love it to. im buildin my ls right now. but on the other hand vtec does add a little kick. but keep your goal realistic and spend your money wise. build your bottem end first. good luck

--- And for your ? -- I say go Ls.Vtec. I'm builiding up my integra now. I was confused on what to do. It was either Ls.V or GSr Turbo. I decided Ls.V even knowing it cost a bit more to do it right. I am keeping this one together for now, and once i get a LS bare block, ima get that sleeved and built up and go from there. Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

x2. You really have got to be more specific on your goals. In general, I am bias to the GSR. These motors have proven to be reliable and put down outstanding numbers in stock form. With this being said, we won't even mention k-series because we alllllllllll know about that

If you have already heard a lot about which engine is best for boost.. then you are just wasting oru time by starting this thread because you are going to get what you've already gotten.... a bunch of different opinions from different people.

Bye bye now, play somewhere else.
