I'm just curious as to what kind of gain i'm looking at by going with a set of USDM ITR pistons and CTR/ITR cams, is it a worthy upgrade? Say $2-300 for the pistons and $500 for the cams?

 

Your compression should be around 10:8:1 or 10:9:1. A more worthy investment would be JDM ITR pistons, you will be around 11:5:1. Or ctr pistons which is 12:3:1 in a GSR engine (you can use pump gas, im running 12:1 timing is at 16 BTDC, fuel pressure at 50 psi with the vacum line on (also running JUN III)

i hope these are for ur GSR.
make sure u have a decent header w/ good flow ie JDM 4-1 or any header w/ 2.5 collector, vtec controller to take care of the cams duration, cam gears to adjust,
decent exhaust like 2.5 in mandrel bent and tuning, tuning, tuning.....

 

What did you think they were for?
