my car has been runnin like **** (check engine light has been popen on and off). i went and bought a obd1 code searcher. and it says it is my map sensor circut.. i have changed my map sensor 3 times and it is still sayin it .... is there somethin im doin wrong or is there somthin else i can change? is the map sensor circut not the peice on top the throttle body is there somethin somewhere else??????? please help its driven me nuts ....

 

What exactly is the code?

if you have changed the map sensor 3 times, are they new maps or used ones?
also, you might have a vaccuum leak, which will cause a a bad map code.
and last but not least, did you clear the CEL buy disconnecting the battery?

 

welll when i do the code search my check engine light blinks three times. in the book that means my (map sensor circut) is bad.....but my check engine light only pops on once in awhle and when it does my car runs like ****........

When it runs like ****. . . are you sure its not limp mode? Also, maybe this is what you need
